On Saturday, February 8, we once again concluded the Telenet Superprestige in Middelkerke. Lucinda Brand was already certain of the overall victory in the oldest regularity criterium and had to settle for second place behind Inge van der Heijden. Joris Nieuwenhuis defeated Eli Iserbyt and overall winner Niels Vandeputte.

Women Elite

Lucinda Brand faced a significant deficit after a crash in the first turn. The Dutch rider started an impressive comeback race but failed to catch up with Inge van der Heijden.

 

Men Elite

After a season full of setbacks, Joris Nieuwenhuis took the victory in Middelkerke. After an exciting duel, the Dutch rider kept Eli Iserbyt behind him. Niels Vandeputte secured the overall win in the Telenet Superprestige without any problems.
