Regulations
The Telenet Superprestige is organized as a regularity criterion, for which the following eight races are taken into account:
20/10/2024: Ruddervoorde
27/10/2024: Overijse
11/11/2024: Niel
16/11/2024: Merksplas
23/12/2024: Mol
30/12/2024: Diegem
04/01/2025: Gullegem
08/02/2025: Middelkerke
Each event within the Telenet Superprestige organizes both a men's and a women's race. In each category, points are awarded as follows: 15 points for the first place, 14 points for the second, 13 points for the third, 12 points for the fourth, 11 points for the fifth, and so on, down to 1 point for the fifteenth place. The official result, drawn up according to UCI regulations, is the only standard for awarding points.
In each Telenet Superprestige ranking, a final classification is drawn up based on the points earned in the eight races. The rider with the highest number of points in their ranking is declared the Telenet Superprestige winner.
Participants are not required to take part in all the Telenet Superprestige races. If, when calculating the final classification, several riders have the same number of points, priority is given to the rider who started the most Telenet Superprestige races. If riders are still tied, preference will be given to the rider with the most wins in Telenet Superprestige races. If this factor is still inconclusive, the rider with the best result in the final race will be favored.
The total prize money for the Telenet Superprestige classification is €67,500, for both men and women. The first man or woman in the final classification will receive €25,000, the second €16,000, the third €10,000, the fourth €7,500, the fifth €4,000, the sixth €2,500, the seventh €1,500, and the eighth €1,000.
The prize money for the classification mentioned in article 5 will only be paid out if at least six races are organized during the 2024-2025 season.
If, due to force majeure (such as extreme weather conditions, an epidemic outbreak accompanied by a ban on events, strikes, natural disasters, attacks, etc.), fewer than six races are organized within the Telenet Superprestige, the classification prize money will be canceled, and the organization will pay additional prize money per race based on the daily results of each individual race. Per race, €7,000 will be distributed according to the following scale: the first will receive €2,500, the second €1,750, the third €1,000, the fourth €600, the fifth €500, the sixth €300, the seventh €200, and the eighth in the ranking will receive €150. All prize payments or additional prize payments will only be made after the season has ended.
In all Telenet Superprestige races, participants race with an electronic chip. This chip is provided to the riders at registration and must be returned at the finish in the tent set up at the arrival area. If the chip is not returned, a fee of €125 will be charged.
In case of disputes, only the organizing committee will have the authority to decide.
